I’m sorry to say that we have had to close entries for the 2024 Raid. Please do not register as we are unable to accept any more boats.

You should satisfy yourself (and us) that you can comply with the conditions contained in this form

If OK please complete and include a picture of your boat (we are limited by the software to a max size of 1Mb). If you have been a Raider with us over the last few years I may already have a decent picture of your boat.

A booking deposit of £75 will secure your place, although we reserve the right to decline the registration and refund the money if we become oversubscribed . Please note that in the event of cancellation before the event by yourself the deposit will only be returned if the event has sufficient funds to do so after all bills and charitable donations have been paid.

402410, 61420933 and Raid England are the details you will need if making an online banking transfer. Please use your boat name as a payment reference.

If you are making an overseas transfer please contact me first to discuss the best way of paying.

Otherwise you will need to know that HSBC is the bank, Market Place, Henley-on-Thames, UK is the address (although the branch has actually closed) together with some or all of the below. Please can you opt to “pay” the transfer fees as well since UK banks charge us a lot for accepting money from outside the UK.

Responsibility – the legal bit: Raid England and the organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, death or personal injury howsoever caused to the Owner/Skipper or crew, as a result of their taking part in the Event. Moreover, every Owner/Skipper warrants the suitability of his boat for the Event. The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the Owner/ Skipper, who must ensure that the boat is fully found, thoroughly seaworthy, manned by a crew sufficient in number and experience who are physically fit to face bad weather. The Owner/Skipper must be satisfied as to the soundness of the hull, spars, rigging and all gear. He must ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained, stowed and in date and that the crew know where it is kept and how it is to be used. Neither the establishment of these conditions, nor their use by Raid England, in any way limits the absolute responsibility of the Owner/ Skipper. I fully agree to this as part of taking part in this event.*
